The Meridian+” Enterprise is one of the few companies using the TrueOrtho technology and having experience in creation of true orthophotos, which show in an orthogonal projection not only the earth surface, but also objects (buildings) placed on it. As a result, buildings and other high-altitude objects are shown on real orthophotos without distortion of heights deriving from their reflection under the laws of perspective. are shown on real orthophotos without inclinations deriving from their representation under the laws of the perspective.
By contract with the Administration of Saint-Petersburg the Enterprise has created true orthophotos (ТrueОrtho) of a 1:2000 scale for an area over 2000 square km.
