Digital orthophotos
Digital orthophotos based on digital aerial images have the following application characteristics:
- precision in conformity with current standards (technical standards);
- image in any possible spectral range: black-and-white, colour, conditional colour;
- high photometric quality;
- image colour alignment for all orthophoto area;
- cross-links of orthotransformed images are invisible.
During the previous years the “Meridian+” Enterprise has created digital orthophotos of 1:2000 and over scales according to aerial survey results for Russian cities (Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Sochi, Novosibirsk, Tyumen, etc.); digital 1:2000 scale orthophotos based on aerial survey results of the territories of the Republics of Udmurtia, Chuvashia, Mordovia, Kalmykia, Altai, Buryatia, Karelia, Komi, North Osetia-Alania and Ingushetia; Nizhniy Novgorod, Samara, Tyumen, Tver, Chelyabinsk, Vladimir, Yaroslavl, Voronezh, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orenburg, Sverdlovsk, Pskov Regions and Altai Territory; digital orthophotos based on aerial survey of large objects’ areas (different long-mileage pipelines, power transmission lines, mines, etc.); digital 1:1000 and less scale orthophotos based on satellite survey of vast territories. We have also performed works on creation of orthophotos of Saint-Petersburg territory (2000 square kilometres).

For creation of orthophotos we use full ranges of software products by the leading world producers: ImageStation (Intergraph, SGI); TerraPhoto (TerraSolid); XPro, GPro, LPS (Leica Geosystems); Pendulum (VisionMap); PhotoMod (Racurs).
